2003 National Volunteer Week was April 27th to May 3rd. To celebrate National Volunteer Week I publicly recognized the generous people who gave so freely of their time, talents and money to help with causes and organizations that are dear to my heart. See a list of these individuals and the causes they helped with here: Hall of Helpers. I also took the opportunity to promote volunteerism and involvement in the community during the week long celebration of volunteers. During National Volunteer Week, I shared volunteer poems, quotes and tips as well as offered many the opportunity to participate in friendly volunteer-based contests. Below are the three friendly volunteer-based contest. There will be one winner per contest. Each winner receives a prize (prizes are listed below) and everyone who participates receives something for their participation in each contest. More details, rules and regulations for each contest are below. Enter any or all of the contest today!
